A general purpose nail with a small head, allowing the head to be punched below the timber surface and then filled for a clean, neat finish. A nail punch can be used to ensure the nail head sits below the level of the timber. The nail should be 2-3 times longer than the timber that is being held.

“Hot Dip Galvanised” is achieved by immersing the product into a bath of molten zinc. The iron in the steel reacts with the molten zinc to produce a corrosion resistant layer on the steel. The process generally leaves a rough finish. “HDG” is one of the cheapest options in corrosion resistance and is suitable for general external use.
